Using SMTP Authentication with Outlook Express 6

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu.
  2. Click on “Accounts.”
  3. Click on the “Mail” tab.
  4. Double click the account (or highlight it and hit the “Properties” button).
  5. Click on the “Servers” tab.

  6. In the “Outgoing Mail Server” section, click “My server requires authentication.”

  7. If you are not using smtp.arbbs.net or mail.arbbs.net as your incoming mail server, click the “Settings” button, then “Log on using”, and enter your arbbs.net Username and Password.
